Nature walks and photography

MY LATEST WORK

 January 2019

January has been a month of colourful sunrises; glimpses of mountain and moorland wildlife in between the lying snow and visits to the coast where there has been plenty of wildlife but often too distant to photograph during my visits -  although it's lovely just to see and spend time in the wonderful scenery observing.

I still managed some photos that I'm proud of.

I'm Mark Ranner

Owner of Tomintours and your guide when you take a Tomintours Nature and photography walk.

ABOUT ME

Wildlife enthusiast and photographer with over twenty years experience - seven years in this location. My photographs have appeared on BBC's Springwatch as well as in some books, calendars and posters.

Living in the village of Tominoul - the highest village in the Scottish highlands within the  North East corner of the Cairngorm National Park has enabled me to walk, observe and record a fantastic variety of wildlife in superb environmental landscapes whilst also assisting in conservation work.

Tomintours: Nature walks and photography are exclusive walks limited to one or two clients per walk exploring the scenery, fauna and flora based upon the clients requests or on selected set walks which showcase a variety of wildlife at any given time of the year with photography opportunities as they arise - this is nature out in the wild not a "pay-to-click" business.

I set up the Tomintours business as a way of continuing my work, sharing my passion for this special area and hopefully providing long lasting memories for you.
